Caffeine or stimulants such as chocolates, ice cream, tea, soda, and other caffeinated beverages will only give you trouble sleeping. It alerts the system of the body keeping it awake at times when it should be resting.
Drink water instead of consuming alcohol. Water expels toxins and wastes from the body while keeping it calm. However, drinking too much water can also disrupt your sleep as your body may wake you up only to urinate.
