3. Change in weight.
When cancer cells begin growing in the body they use a lot of energy. Most people will notice that if a cancer is growing, that energy is being eaten up by the cancer cells, this leaves victims feeling both drained of energy, as well as lighter by around 10 pounds because the cancer eats the glucose that would normally be absorbed as energy. This type of change in weight is not exclusive to lung cancer however, since this occurs for any type of cancer that may grow within the body.
