8. Wheezing.
When airways tighten due to circumstances which can irritate or inflame the airways, the lungs produce a wheezing sound when you breathe, this sound sounds like an old dog panting for air. There are several things that can cause wheezing besides cancer, most of which are benign and can be treated with proper medical care. However, wheezing is also a lung cancer symptom, that’s why it requires the attention of your doctor. If wheezing persists, you shouldn’t assume it’s a result of asthma or allergies. Make sure that the symptoms are in line, and if there is anything you are unsure about, see a doctor for a proper diagnosis.
