4. Inverted Nipple
A nipple that is turned slightly inward or inverted can often be caused by tight breast duct tissue. This happens quite often and is usually not due to cancer (often it occurs during lactation, or pregnancy) At other times, people can be born with an inverted nipple due to genetics. If a nipple inverts later in life, one should visit their physician to make sure it isn’t cancer.
