3. Unusual bleeding
This is the most common symptom of cervical cancer that tends to show early. If this happens after the menstrual cycle has passed, and the bleeding occurs at a strange time of the month, then it may be a sign of cervical cancer. There are of course many other possibilities, so don’t be alarmed if this occurs. It is recommended that if unusual bleeding persists for long periods of time however, women should see their doctor to have some tests done. Bleeding which occurs after sexual intercourse could also be a sign of trouble, and the risk of cervical cancer increases in elderly women past their menopause.
