4.Consumption of illegal substances.
Many Americans agree that the war on drugs has failed. Recent polls have revealed that an overwhelming majority of college students have partaken in the recreational consumption of marijuana, and several have tried other psychedelic drugs. Whether times are changing or not is still up for debate, as the issue could take a turn either way at any point in time. For example; both Donald Trump, and Ernie Sanders are both in the same boat when it comes to drugs in that they believe it’s an issue of states rights, but nominee Chris Christie said that he would enforce federal laws in both Colorado and Oregon if he became president.
