Many women experience irregular menstruation while getting through menopause so it can be difficult to link this irregularity with ovarian cancer without performing certain tests. Though irregular menstruation is not considered as the main early warning sign of the cancer in the ovary, the possibility still cannot be ignored. So it is better for younger women to visit their doctor to be sure about the possibility of ovarian cancer if their menstrual cycles have been abnormal for a long time.
